When Tainui Group Holdings (TGH), the commercial entity of Waikato-Tainui, decided it was time to transform its ability to oversee a $1.7 billion portfolio of diverse assets, ranging from farmland and commercial properties to industrial developments, they embarked on a partnership with Fusion5 and YAVICA.
And while neither technology company had worked with the other before, it was a master class in partnership.

To enable its mission, TGH moved from SAP to an end-to-end property management package that combines Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (in partnership with Fusion5) with YAVICA’s FlexProperty solution.

Time zone travel
The fact that we were often in different time zones worked in our favour. We could identify an issue in the afternoon, and it would be resolved by the next morning.
A perfect partnership
For Fusion5, the strategic and working partnership offered no issues.
Amanda Lowe, Fusion5’s General Manager Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations, and Mads Pihl Sørensen, YAVICA’s CEO, quickly aligned their respective companies’ project expectations and established how they would work together. Lowe was exceptionally impressed with YAVICA.
They were a delight to work with. From pre-sales to go-live, our companies were perfectly aligned in approach and performance. When it came to milestones, YAVICA flew in key team members, but we worked remotely for much of the project – with their team attending meetings in the middle of the night (their time) as needed.
